How matching works, how to read your rack, how to tweak it.

Other vocal racks have fixed values, not taking into consideration your unique starting point. PhantomRack fingerprints your vocal against your reference and generates a rack that bridges the two. Every rack is built from scratch, not pulled from a library.

No, because PhantomRack doesn't process your audio. It generates an editable rack of stock plugins you drag onto your vocal track. Every parameter is visible. Every decision is yours to override.

Every plugin in your rack comes with a one-sentence note explaining why it was chosen and how its parameters relate to the reference. Use PhantomRack as a starting point and as a way to learn mixing from real examples calibrated to your voice.

A rack shapes your vocal. It can't replicate the reference's mic, singer, or room. It gets you into the same neighborhood. From there, tweak the macros (Air, Body, Space, Drive, Volume) to taste, or re-run with a different section of the reference.

Yes. From your rack detail page, hit Re-analyze and we'll build a fresh rack. Great for A/B-ing different mixing directions against the same reference.
